Submission Guidelines

Judaica Press has been publishing books for fifty years, and during that time we have created an extensive line of quality Jewish books, from many talented authors. We work closely with our authors to publish their books in a way that both they and we can be proud of. Authors who publish with us can be involved throughout every step of the publishing process -- editing, design and marketing. We truly value and respect our authors’ opinions and ideas, and consequently, our authors love working with us.

  • We publish Jewish books for all age levels:
    • Board books
    • Picture books
    • Short stories and novels for ...
      • Young adults

  • While we publish books that appeal to a varied audience, we will only consider manuscripts that conform to Torah-observant Jewish values.
  • Please include a cover letter. The cover letter should briefly summarize the content of the manuscript, and state its purpose and intended audience. It should also include the author’s name, address, telephone number and email address, as well as a brief author bio.
  • It is best to submit a completed manuscript. If you send only sample chapters, we may indicate that we are interested but we cannot commit to publishing anything without seeing a finished work.
  • If your material has been published before, please indicate where and when, and confirm that you own the rights to your work.
  • For illustrated manuscripts, please submit digital files. Do not send us your original artwork.
  • Submissions should ideally be sent by email, as a Word, DavkaWriter, RTF, or PDF file attachment.
